“Attila The Hun” would be his TV debut with USA networks mini series alongside Powers Booth, and Steven Berkoff. Director Dick Lowry. Ridley Scott Associates drafted Ryan in to star with Paul Kaye in Yoorinal, Director Mark Nunnerly. Ryan went on to work with Paramount Television on the comic based TV series “Largo Winch” starring David Carradine in which Ryan's guest starring role, as Alan Powell would run parallel with his North American theatrical debut “Kiss Of The Dragon”.

“The Corrupt” or the Polish title “Skorumpowani” is located in central Europe, Warsaw, Poland and is based on actual events. The dialogue is Polish and is about the corrupt police and local mafia that meets Russian playboy mobsters in a war about narcotics that are drafted across Europe to the UK but go missing in Poland, evidently Ryan and the stars from Poland did not understand each others language, so Ryan had to learn some Polish in order to make certain scenes work, Ryan Co-Produced. Ryan spends time engaged in writing with his writing partner Julio Ponce Palimeri who have since won the Queens Spirit award for Best Screen Play: The Hunchback based on Victor Hugo’s “The Hunchback Of Notre Dame”.
